Pastor Christopher was born and raised in Wilmington, NC. He answered the call to ministry in 2005. Since that time he has served churches in the Wilmington, Raleigh-Durham and Triad areas as a Minister of Music, Associate Pastor and Pastor. He received a BA from the College at Southeastern  (2010) and a MDiv. From Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (2014). He is excited that God has led him to serve the Oakwoods family as together we reach people for Christ.

Pastor Robert Duncan served Oakwoods Baptist Church as Senior Pastor for over 28 years and retired in 2018 to go into missions full time through Robert Duncan Ministries. On November 13, 2022 OBC honored his years of service by naming him Pastor Emeritus.
